INTRODUCTION 

TO ECSTATIC BIRTH EDUCATION AND SUPPORT 

 

Ecstatic Birth is an invitation to participate in healing the most ancient of thought forms, “BIRTH HURTS. BIRTH CAUSES PAIN AND STRUGGLE AND DEATH”.  It is not a method or a technique. Ecstatic Birth is fundamental to conscious evolution.  It is not a a return to ‘the way things were’. Ecstatic Birth is about a journey of choice and freedom, not a destination.

Here, a number of Midwives have recorded their personal and professional experiences with Breathwork, Ecstatic Birth, their own births, the births of  their own children and their clients.

 

 

 

 

EDUCATORS AND PARENTS

To have a choice about the birth process requires re-education in most instances. We have all been educated about birth, although we may not be consciously aware of it.  We have been told stories about pregnancy and birth by our mothers, grandmothers, friends and a variety of media. Can you think of an instance from television or motion pictures where birth has been portrayed as an empowering and ecstatic experience?
